I completed painting Lolita phoenix today. I used 7 days to paint this picture. When I paint this, I used computer with pen-tablet. It was very fun!
I bought pen-tablet on March 2011. However, using that is so difficult for me. I always used mouse when I use computer, not used tablet. In addition, I am lefty, but always using mouse with right hand. So, in those days, using pen-tablet with left hand is very hard for me. By the way, this picture of Porco Rosso (Crimson Pig) is my first painting work of using pen-tablet on March. It is not good :) “It’s too hard for me”, I thought that, and I stop drawing and painting with pen-tablet. However, I started using pen-tablet instead of mouse when I use computer. So, I got using pen-tablet skill like a mouse and pencil. Drawing with pen-tablet is difficult for me yet. Painting is difficult too, but it very fun. I like painting with pen-tablet. But…using pencil is the best for me :)The reason why I drew skull on the phoenix that I think phoenix controls life and death, and symbol of death is skull. Many eye balls have no reason, it cool. He (or she?) is very cute!

返信削除My son like to draw, so I have talked to him about getting a pen tablet to work on the computer. He does not seem very interested in it, though. I often scan his drawings, and then we color them on the computer. Maybe I will show him these pictures and see if he changes his mind about the pen tablet...
