I went to Korpiklaani’s live at Osaka with my superiors. It was my first live in my life, so I was very excited!!
Korpiklaani is a Finnish heavy metal (or hard rock) band. However, their music is not so heavy and not grating voice, so it is very easy to listening. They called “Forest metal”, “Wood’s fairy” or ”Drinking metal”. Their music is using violin and accordion, so that is very ethnic music. They are 5 men. They love drinking alcohol.
Before started the live, we drank a cup of beer. After that, we found so many beer “Asahi” on the stage!! They start the live, people was so excited!! While Korpiklaani singing, they drank beer with singing and they showered beer for us :) When they sung “Tequila”, they let a girl of audience go up on the stage, and dancing, hug, and kiss to her cheek. They did so excited performance! They were so cool!!
After the live, we bought their CD and T-shirt. When we bought this CD, we got their sigh paper!!
That live is my great memory. I like Korpiklaani more before watching live.
Sounds like a great time. I have never heard of them. Maybe you should do a post and link to their web site, or to a YouTube video. I would be interested in hearing what "Forest Metal" sounds like.
